By the beginning of academic year "VOSTOCKSHAKHTOSTROY" JSC had put into operation a building of secondary school in settlement called Novo-Hairusovka of Katon-Karagaisky region. The building is constructed taking in account all requirements made to educational institutions, supplied with modern studying furniture. New academic year began for the pupils of settlement Novo-Hairuzovka in a new spacious school.

While executing works at the mine Alpys, in August "VOSTOCKSHAKHTOSTROY" JSC started works at construction of drift No 811 at the mine No 11 which belongs to "Stepnogorsk mining chemical industrial complex" that is a part of corporation "Kazatomprom". In 2006 it is planned to produce 6 000 m3 of mining and permanent works. In general within next 8 years it is designed to construct 2 shafts and 12 levels.

 July, 2006

In July 2006 construction administration of "VOSTOCKSHAKHTOSTROY" JSC commenced the works at automobile service center of "Toyota Center" in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The construction is carried out in Ust-Kamenogorsk on the intersection of Abay Avenue and Traktornaya street. Construction budget is 1,5 million USD. The period for execution of works is one year.

Construction administration of "VOSTOCKSHAKHTOSTROY" JSC commenced works at development of the decline on the mine Alpys of "MaikaiynZoloto" JSC. The 1st stage of the mine will be put into operation in 12 months since date of commencement. The total period for execution of mining and permanent working will take 27 months, within this period 73 375 m3 of rock will be extracted. Within 8 years after putting of the mine into operation by "VOSTOCKSHAKHTOSTROY" JSC, it is planned to extract 1 million of ore by "MaikaiynZoloto" JSC.

 June

On 5th of june, 2006 there was a meeting between Australian company called "Byrnecut Mining" and "Vostockshakhtostroy". The result of it became a foundation of joint venture "Central Asia Mining" LLP which will construct the mine at the chromites deposit Voskhod in Aktobe region.
K.K. Kenzhalin was appointed to be General Director of "Central Asia mining" LLP.
From August to October "Central Asia mining" has been executing design estimates. In November the first shift was mobilized to Voskhod deposit in order to develop permanent working (vertical shafts and transportation decline). In 2008 it is planned to carry out first working, preparations and second working of ore extract.
The foundation of "Central Asia Mining" let to supply additional jobs both for miners of East Kazakhstan Region and citizens of Aktobe Region.

 April, 2006

Construction works are renewed at the ore roasting plant of Bakyrchick Mining company. More than 50 million tenge is planned to be utilized.

"VOSTOCKSHAKHTOSTROY" JSC succeeded the tender to complete the construction of water supply point from underground spring in Ridder. In order to construct this object it is provided 100 million tenge from republican budget. The works are planned to be completed in 2007

 1st March, 2006

Construction management of “VOSTOKSHAHTOSTROY” JSC came to final stage in construction of a 320 pupils secondary school in Novo-Khayruzovka, Katon-Karagay region, Eastern-Kazakhstan. Until the 1st September, builders are to spend 73 million tenges from the State Budget. The builders will do their best to let pupils start new school year on the 1st September in wide classrooms of their new school.

“VOSTOKSHAHTOSTROY” JSC President, Mr. Kenzhalin K.K. had a meeting in Aktobe, with the executive director of Australian company "Byrnecut Mining", Mr. Steve Coughlan.
They discussed establishing of Kazakhstan-Australian joint enterprise, which will be engaged on initial stage of cooperation, in construction of “Voskhod” mine, Aktyubinskaya region.
